Key Ongoing Project

At Megadrill Nigeria Limited, we are proud to be at the forefront of delivering complex and critical infrastructure projects that drive the energy sector forward. Here are some of our key ongoing projects, highlighting our commitment to excellence and innovation.

1. Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of Escravos - Lagos Pipeline System (ELPS) Phase III Midline Compressor Project

Project Description:

The ELPS Phase III Midline Compressor Project is a crucial infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing the capacity and efficiency of the Escravos-Lagos Pipeline System, a major gas transportation route in Nigeria. This project involves comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction services to establish a midline compressor station that will optimize gas flow and pressure along the pipeline.

Project Summary:

The project is designed to improve the operational efficiency and reliability of the ELPS, which is critical for meeting the increasing demand for natural gas in Nigeria. The midline compressor will play a vital role in ensuring consistent gas delivery, reducing bottlenecks, and supporting the country’s energy needs.

Work Scope:

  • Construction of Roads: Building access roads to facilitate the transportation of materials and personnel to the construction site.
  • Security Watchtowers: Erecting watchtowers around the compressor station to ensure the safety and security of the site.
  • Civil Works for Compressor Station 2: Undertaking extensive civil engineering works to prepare the site for the installation of compressor equipment, including foundation laying, structural supports, and necessary infrastructure.

Completion Date:

December 2024

2. Replacement of 30"x 600# Weld-On Line Break Valve with Actuator and Its 8" By-Pass Valves at KP29 (Mosogar) along ELPS-2C in Asset Operations Delta (AOD) with Flanged Valve

Project Description:

This project involves the replacement of critical valve components along the ELPS-2C pipeline at KP29 in Mosogar, Delta State. The upgrade includes the installation of a new 30″x 600# weld-on line break valve with actuator and its corresponding 8″ by-pass valves. The existing components will be replaced with flanged valves to enhance the pipeline’s safety and operational efficiency.

Project Summary:

The replacement project aims to ensure the integrity and reliability of the ELPS-2C pipeline, which is vital for the safe and efficient transport of natural gas. By upgrading to flanged valves, the project will mitigate risks associated with potential line breaks and improve maintenance capabilities.

Work Scope:

  • Valve Replacement:Removing the existing 30″x 600# weld-on line break valve and its 8″ by-pass valves.
  • Installation of Flanged Valves: Installing new flanged valves with actuators to enhance control and safety.
  • Pipeline Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of the new valve components with the existing pipeline infrastructure.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Conducting thorough testing to ensure the new valves function correctly and commissioning the system for operational use.

Completion Date:
